Hind Petroleum & FMCG slip, Punj Lloyd & OBC surge

Market is witnessing ups and downs in the late afternoon trading session.

FMCG stocks are at the receiving end. Tata Tea, one of India's first multinational companies, has shed by 0.8% to Rs. 750, ITC is down by 1% to Rs. 180, HLL has lost by 0.6% to Rs. 229 and Archies has plunged by 1.6% to Rs. 132.

On the other hand, Punj Lloyd has gained by 3.2% to Rs. 775 after the Indian construction and engineering outfit announced its association with Swissport. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 777 and a low of Rs. 736 and has recorded volumes of over 2,00,000 shares on NSE.

Following the path of gainers, OBC has added 4% to Rs. 207, the scrip is the biggest gainer among the 50-scrips of NSE Nifty and has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 209 and low of Rs. 192 and has recorded volumes of over 3,00,000 shares on NSE.

Unlike the OBC, Hindustan Petroleum has dipped by 3.3% to Rs. 294, the scrip is the biggest loser among the 50-scrips of NSE Nifty and has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 312 and low of Rs. 292 and has recorded volumes of over 12,00,000 shares on NSE.

Similarly, Petronet LPG has slipped by 0.3% to Rs. 48. As per the reports the company would receive their third spot cargo of LNG this month. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 48 and a low of Rs. 47 and has recorded volumes of over 3,00,000 shares on NSE.
