Govt says willing to pay more for extra Iran LNG

India is willing to pay a higher price for extra quantities of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Iran if the Islamic nation honours an existing contract for five million tonnes, petroleum minister Murli Deora said on Monday. In June 2005, India signed a deal with Iran to import five million tonnes of LNG over 25 years from 2009.
