Petronet's 16th Foundation Day Celebration

Petronet LNG Ltd celebrated its sixteenth foundation day amidst great fanfare on 2nd April 2013. It was an occasion to applaud and extol perseverance and brilliance of Petronet family who had worked day in and day out to win kudos for the company’s remarkable performances year after year.

H.E. Mr. William Duma, Minister of Petroleum & Energy, Papua New Guinea was Chief Guest of the occasion. The function was presided by Dr. M. Veerappa Moily, Hon’ble Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India.

The celebrations started by lighting of lamp, invocation and Saraswati Vandana by children from the Blind Relief Association, Lodhi Road.

Sh, Vivek Rae, Secretary, MoPNG & Chairman, Petronet LNG Ltd. In his welcome address congratulated the team Petronet for their success and wished them for brighter future. With pride and joy in his eyes, he thanked promoters, other business partners for their unwavering support in all these years.

The welcome address was followed by Petronet's Choir song "Taral saral" which was performed by Petronet employees.

Dr Moily addressed the occasion and shared the vision of his Ministry on Indian Oil & Gas Sector. He also appreciated Petronet for its consistent outstanding performance and a reliable supplier of natural gas in the country.

Chief Guest H.E. Mr. William Duma, Minister of Petroleum & Energy, Papua New Guinea while delivering 3rd Foundation day Lecture expressed his sincere gratitude for inviting him to speak on this auspicious occasion. He was quiet hopeful that bilateral relations between India & Papua New Guinea will touch new heights.

The function concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. A.K. Balyan, MD & CEO, Petronet LNG Limited.
